MEDIUM OF EXAMINATION
The Institute allows the students to appear in Institute’s examination in English and Hindi medium, subject to other prescribed guidelines in this regard.
Students are required to fulfill the following training requirements.
- TDOP (Three Days Orientation Programme
- One-month Executive Development Programme (EDP) [15 days classroom mode & 15 days online mode] after passing CS Executive.
- Practical training of 21 months.
- Corporate Leadership Development Programme (CLDP) after passing CS Professional Programme.
Examination Qualifying Marks
(a) For All Modules:
A candidate shall be declared to have passed in all modules of Professional Programme examination —
- If taken simultaneously and if he/she secures at one sitting, a minimum of forty per cent marks in each of the papers in which he/she is required to appear and fifty per cent marks in the aggregate of all the papers put together; or
- If he/she has passed in any one or more module(s) of Professional Programme examination held under the old syllabus prior to the commencement of Professional Programme examination under the new syllabus, and secures at one sitting a minimum of forty per cent marks in each of the remaining papers in which he/she is required to appear and fifty per cent marks in the aggregate of all such remaining papers put together.
(b) For One Module:
A candidate shall be declared to have passed in a module of Professional Programme examination if he/she secures at one sitting a minimum of forty per cent marks in each paper and fifty per cent marks in the aggregate of all the papers of that module and shall be declared to have completed the Professional Programme examination on passing all the modules.
Provided that a candidate who has appeared in all the papers of a module for which he/she was
enrolled and has secured sixty per cent or more marks in one paper and a minimum of twenty five per cent marks in each of the remaining papers of that module but has failed in the module, shall be granted exemption from that or those paper(s) in which he/she secured sixty per cent or more marks, in any subsequent examination. However, the students who are not interested in availing the said exemption may seek cancellation of the same on submission of an application in this behalf on or before the last date of enrolment for the examination in which he/she intends to appear;
Provided further that if a candidate who has appeared in all the papers of the Module for which he has enrolled without obtaining any exemption and has failed in one paper comprised in the Module, but got a minimum of sixty percent of the total marks of the remaining papers of the module shall be declared to have passed in that module if he/she appears in the paper in which he/she had failed and gets fifty per cent marks in any subsequent examination.
Explanation: For the purpose of the above proviso, the marks obtained by a candidate in the paper in which he/she had obtained exemption on the basis of having secured sixty per cent or more marks shall not be taken into account for computing his/her result of the remaining papers of that module for any subsequent examination.
TIME Limit for Completing CS Examination
A student is required to complete the Executive and the Professional examination within the registration period. However, on payment of requisite fees the validity of registration may be renewed / extended for further period subject to fulfilling the applicable guidelines.
Details of 15 Days Academic Program for Students
- The 15 day’s academic program (i.e. 2 days Induction + 3 days e-Governance + 5 days Skill Development +5 days Entrepreneurship Development) shall be applicable for all students who have completed their Executive Program (i.e. passed both modules of Executive Program) on or after 25th August 2015.
- The break-up of 15 days academic program exposure is as under:
i) 2 days Induction Program
ii) 3 days e-governance
iii) 5 days Skill Development
iv) 5 days Entrepreneurship Development
Applicability:
- 15 days Academic program is applicable to every student who is successfully completing Executive Program (whether already undergoing training or not) of ICSI, on or after 25th August 2015.
- 2 days Induction & 3 days e-Governance are to be completed within 3 months of passing Executive programme or within 2 months of commencement of their 15 months/1 year/2 years training whichever is earlier. If, any student is already undergoing training on the date of passing the Executive program, in such case two months criteria is not applicable to him/her.
- 3 days e-Governance is to be commenced only after 2 days Induction is completed.
- 5 days Skill Development is to be completed only after completing 2 days Induction & 3 days e-Governance but, in any case within 7 months from the passing of Executive program.
- 5 days Entrepreneurship Development is to be completed only after completing 2 days Induction, 3 days e-Governance & 5 days Skill Development but, in any case before 3 months from the completing of their 15 months/1year/2 years training.
- Students failing to complete the above requirement will not be allowed to apply for MSOP (or by whatever name may be called)
