The Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) is the mandatory entry-level test for the Company Secretary (CS) course offered by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI)
(ICSI) conducts the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) three times a year in February, June, and October.

CSEET Registration Fees
The ICSI has updated the fees to include mandatory online classes and revamped study materials.
- Registration Fee: ₹7,500 (One-time, includes SIP and Online Classes).
- Examination Enrollment Fee: ₹1,500 (Per session).
- Late Enrollment Fee: ₹250.

Given below steps can be followed by candidates to fill the CSEET application form:
Before proceeding to CSEET registration form please make sure that you are ready with the softcopy of these documents.
- Photograph of the candidate
- Signature of the candidate
- DOB Certificate (10th pass certificate)
- Admit Card/ Hall Ticket for 10+2 Examinations (if appearing)
- 10+2 Pass Certificate/ Mark Sheet
- Category Certificate (for availing Fee Concession)
- Identity proof(Addhar card/passport/voter ID /pan card/driving license/ration card)
All the files should be present in one of the following formats (jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp, pdf).
(The maximum allowed file size is 2 MBs. File size of a student photo should be between 20kb to 50kb. File Size of student signature should be between 10kb to 20kb.)
6. How to Apply Online
1. Visit the ICSI Smash Portal: Go to https://smash.icsi.edu
2. Select: ‘Online Services’ → ‘Register for CSEET’.
3. Fill in: Basic details and upload documents.
4. Pay: The Registration Fee (₹7,500).
5. Important: Log in again during the Enrollment Window to pay the exam fee (₹1,500) and select your exam center.

CSEET is the entry-level examination conducted by The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) for students aspiring to pursue the Company Secretary (CS) course. It is a mandatory qualification to register for the CS Executive Programme.
Students who have passed or are appearing in the 12th standard (any stream except fine arts) are eligible. Graduates or postgraduates are also required to clear CSEET before entering the CS Executive stage.

ICSI conducts the CSEET exam Three times a year — in February, June and October sessions.
A candidate shall be declared pass in CSEET if they secure, in one sitting, a minimum of 40 marks in each paper and 50% marks in the aggregate of all papers of CSEET.
Additionally, there is no provision for exemption or carry forward of marks in CSEET
CSEET Registration – Guide
Eligibility
To register for CSEET, the candidate must meet the prescribed eligibility
requirements. The candidate must be an Indian national and must have passed
or be appearing for Class 12 (10+2). Candidates who have passed the ICSI
Foundation Programme, CA Final, or CMA Final, as well as graduates,
postgraduates, and final-year degree students, are exempted from appearing
for CSEET.
Fees
The CSEET Registration Fee is ₹7,500, which includes the
Student Induction Programme (SIP) and online classes. The
examination fee is ₹1,500 per attempt.
Fee Concessions:
SC/ST candidates – 50% concession
PH candidates – 50% concession
North-East, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and Himachal Pradesh – 50% concession
Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh – 100% concession
Registration Cut-Off Dates
The registration cut-off dates vary depending on the examination session.
For regular sessions, candidates can register for the February session
from 1 October to 31 January, for the June session from
1 February to 31 May, and for the October session from
1 June to 30 September.
For the new pattern applicable from June 2026, the
registration period for the June 2026 session is
16 December 2025 to 15 February 2026, while for the
October 2026 session it is
16 February 2026 to 31 May 2026.
Registration Validity
CSEET registration is valid for a period of 3 years
from the date of registration.
Note
The registration and examination fees are non-refundable,
except in cases where a double payment has been made.
