The New Syllabus (ICSI Syllabus 2022) for the CSEET, Executive and Professional Programme of the Company Secretaryship Course has been approved by the Council of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India in exercise of the powers granted under clause (a) of sub-section (2) of Section 15 of the Company Secretary Act, 1980.
The New Syllabus consists of an Online Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) with four (4) parts, seven (7) papers for the Executive Program, seven (7) papers for the Professional Program, two (2) papers for elective courses, and seven (7) papers overall. The names of the programme are CSEET, Seven (7) Papers of the Executive Program, and Seven (7) Papers of the Professional Program, which include electives according to the ICSI Syllabus (2022).
A. CSEET
ICSI administers the CSEET entrance exam four times a year in January, May, July, and November. The CSEET has taken the role of the CS Foundation Course, and students who pass it are automatically admitted to the CS Executive programme.
Part 1 : Business Communication (50 Marks)
Part 2 : Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude (70 Marks)
Part 3 : Economic and Business Environment (50 Marks)
Part 4 : Current Affairs (30 Marks)
B. Executive Programme
ICSI Syllabus 2022 aims to instil principles, laws, and interpretation at the Executive Level; in this regard, the grouping of Papers under-
Group 1. The Executive Programme has been done keeping in mind the critical aspects of “Ease of Learning,” “Balancing of Theoretical / Legal and Practical Papers,” and “Strengthening of Fundamental Concepts Having Relevance in the Papers Covered Under Subsequent.
Group 2. These statistics should serve as a reminder to students that when taking the Executive programme Examination, Group 1 should always come first.
C. Professional Programme
The Professional Programme is the last stage of the CS curriculum. This module is broken up into three separate modules, each of which contains three papers, for a total of nine papers. Depending on your schedule, you may choose to take the modules simultaneously or one at a time.
Date that the ICSI Syllabus for the CSEET, Executive Program, and Professional Program will be in effect in 2022.
Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) start date of registration under ICSI Syllabus 2022 is June 16, 2023 or first examination under ICSI Syllabus 2022 on November, 2023 . Executive Programme registration date start on February 01, 2023 or first exam held on December, 2023. And
for Professional Programme registration start from August 01, 2023. or first exam held on June, 2024.
